The KR QUANTEC series will be the world’s first industrial robot range to have digital motion modes. These are software add-ons which ensure optimal robot motion for specific applications. The ‘path mode’ allows for CP motion with greater accuracy and precision while the ‘dynamic mode’ increases speed and thus reduces cycle time at bottlenecks on production lines.
The KR QUANTEC series is distinguished by its optimized portfolio, as well as maximized performance and advanced design. The robot is protected as standard against uncontrolled electrostatic charging or discharging and is thus equipped for the safe handling of sensitive electronic components.
With software plug-ins, the KR QUANTEC series offers the ad hoc option of optimizing the robot's performance in processes or process sub-steps.

– Path Mode: increases the precision of continuous-path motion at both high and low path velocities.
– Dynamic Mode: reduces cycle times and gives the KR QUANTEC more speed. Decrease cycle times by around 10%.

From sand mold production through casting and forging to surface coating: In the foundry version, the KR QUANTEC is fully equipped in protection class IP67 and IP65, and thanks to unique features is suitable for use in the foundry and forging industry at temperatures up to 55°C and up to 10s per minute at 180°C, e.g. when gripping into an oven.
